Editor's Notes
Resumo
The present edition of RILE in English, introduces, this month of June 2021, an important stage in the project of publication of our Journal. Initially, not only for bringing together articles by important critics of postcolonial ecocriticism, but also for launching the debate in Latin America, and especially in Brazil, about the meaning of postcolonial ecocriticism, objects of research, critics and theoreticians. Thanks to the efforts of the dedicated editor Animesh Roy and the Brazilian editors of RILE, Dr. Ivana Peixoto, Dr. Evely Libanori and I, Zélia Bora, that everything was made possible.
This number brings together articles written in British English style, most used in India and North American academies.
From this issue, a regular and yearly number of RILE in English will be released each year in collaboration with the international editors, Animesh Roy and John Ryan, in collaboration with the Brazilian editors
We are equally grateful to all the contributors for this immense academic effort in times of pandemics. All of them went beyond personal difficulties with courage and responsibility in the formulation of their articles. Without them, this number would not have been possible.
With Warm Wishes,
Zélia Bora
