Resumo
Este ensaio considera o lugar do clima recordado em nossas lembranças nostálgicas e pergunta quais são os perigos da adaptação amnésica ao "novo padrão normal" climático quando ocorrem as mudanças climáticas globais. Tal afirmação sugere que a ideia de clima imutável assumida pelos textos do passado será correlacionada ao clima imprevisível do futuro, alterando a maneira como são lidos.
